What We Write

We have resolved that our writing will reflect the truth of the human heart—its beauty, its brokenness, and its desperate need for a Savior. We don’t want to shy away from the reality of sin, pain, or struggle, but neither will we glorify them. Instead, we want to show how grace enters the mess, how light pierces the darkness, and how redemption is always possible through Christ. Our characters will be real and human: flawed but not forsaken, struggling but still sought by God. We want our stories to echo the gospel—to show that no one is beyond His reach and that victory is found in Christ alone.
The worlds we build and the plots we weave will be creative and imaginative, yet always grounded in truth. Whether we write in fantasy realms or everyday life, we want our stories to carry the same heartbeat: hope, redemption, and the glory of God. We want our writing to be clean—not sterile or shallow, but pure in motive and content. Every line should honor the Lord, reflecting His goodness and beauty. Our goal isn’t to entertain for entertainment’s sake, but to move hearts toward Him, to plant seeds of truth and wonder that point the reader back to their Creator.
At the same time, we’ve committed to what we will not write. Our stories will not be hopeless, because our God is never without hope. They will not be unclean or filled with content that dishonors Him. We have firmly chosen to avoid provocative or explicit romance and we will not shape our message to fit worldly expectations. We refuse to write from a place of fear or compromise. Our stories won’t exalt human strength, but rather the grace and power of God working through weakness. We want to be faithful, not popular—to write what is true, even when it’s not trendy.
Through it all, we trust the Lord to guide our pens and our paths. We will stumble, we will struggle with doubt and imperfection, but He will lift us up and lead us again. Our writing belongs to Him, and so do we. Every story, every sentence, every spark of creativity is an offering of worship. Sola Scriptura. Solus Christus. Sola fide. Sola gratia. Soli Deo gloria. May our words always point back to the One who bore our sins on the cross, to whom all glory belongs forever.
